This year, reached quarterfinals at Sydney International and round of 16 at Indian Wells, defeating former Kastle Denis Kudla, world #22 Roberto Bautista Agut, and Canadian Next-Gen star Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Achieved a career-high singles ranking of #58 in the world in 2017 and won first ATP title at Shenzhen Open in 2018, saving two match points to defeat Canadian Next-Gen star Denis Shapovalov in the round of 16.
